The CEPA Dialogue Series

The CEPA Dialogue Series is an initiative of the Australia UAE Business Council with the aim of bringing together government representatives and industry leaders to support industry engagement with the implementation of the industry-specific Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs). The MoUs were signed in November 2024โ€‹ under the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the Australia and Emirati governments. The Dialogue sessions focus on the priority sectors as identified by the respective MoUs, with the goal of facilitating cross-border conversation, commercial insight, and greater awareness of how these policies benefit business.

Each session commences with an industry briefing on the sector's landscape across Australia and the UAE, followed by contributions from Australian and Emirati government representatives highlighting national strategies, investment priorities and opportunities in the space. The second half of the CEPA Dialogue allows for an open discussion about how industry can leverage the MoUs to catalyse joint ventures, investment and bilateral collaboration between Australia and the UAE.
